Steven Taddei is the Art Department Chairman and Photography teacher. Mr. Taddei has been teaching at Overfelt High School for over 30 years. As a teacher of Photography, Mr. Taddei also does his own black and white photography and has exhibited throughout the Bay Area. Mr. Taddei is a teacher who never ceases to challenge himself and his students in their search for the creative spirit within us all. Van Nguyen is an alumni at W.C. Overfelt. He graduated from Overfelt in 1993. He is also a graduate of San Jose State University with a BA degree in Art Education/Photography and a Single-subject teaching credential in Art Education. His goal is to encourage and expose students to the many career possibilities involving the visual arts. He is currently teaching Art 1 and Photo 1. Email : Nguyenvn@esuhsd.org |

Dafne Miller graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She majored in Illustration and Art Education. Prior to teaching at Overfelt, she taught Art in Santa Cruz through the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz. Dafne Miller paints Still-Lifes and Portraits in Oils and is influenced by artists such as Sargent and Sorolla. She is currently teaching Art 1 and Drawing & Painting in in room H-5. Shereon McRae-Hurndon has been teaching Photo 1 since 1998. Along with teaching Photography, she also teaches 1 section of Fashion Design (since 1992) & Marketing and Early Childhood Education (since 1975). Her Early Childhood Education class gives her the best of both worlds, the opportunity to watch high school students and preschool children develop and grow while Photography and Fashion expose her to their creative side. |
